Send message
A goal is an outcome that you want to achieve in some future point. Goals are the purpose of and reason for our communication. Primary goals represent the outcome that you want to achieve. Secondary goals help you to achieve your primary goals. A goal intention is what you specifically want, need, or intent to do. The reaction you want or expect from your receiver is a goal response, and it is an important part of your message goal. To satisfy your goal intentions, feedback is necessary. When you plan your design you need to thing who is going to receive your message. An audience is an individual or group who receives a designed message. It is important to know that groups of people have dynamic personality, just as individuals do. Different types of audiences have different characteristics, needs, interest, and skill levels that you need to evaluate throughout the communication design process. It is a good idea to ascertain what your audience members already know about the information you plan to provide in you message. Do the have general knowledge on advanced understanding about the topic? The answer will shape your message content, language, visuals and tone.
Know information
an audience that is already familiar with the topic may became bored or disregard the message if there is nothing new or interesting.
Blend of known and new information
It is equally important for you to discover what you audience needs to know about your topic or how new aspects of what they know can benefit them.
New information
While new information or a new twist on old information can gain audience attention, messages that to much novelty or are overly complicated can cause the audience to lose interest, became confused or ever tuned out in frustration.
It can be challenging to discover what you audience evaluate and believes, but you need some idea where your audience stands on the issues or topics you will introduce to avoid off ending or irritating them. Background information cultural, political, religious can provide clues to their believes and values. Also, when you are planning your message you should think about how the audience to benefit from it. The first and last things presented in a message are often the most important. The audience will decide weather or not pay attention to the message based on the introduction. In the introduction, give your audience a reason to focus on your message, perhaps by presenting new or interesting information there or explaining how the message is relevant to the audience. You may also to decide to ask a question, which can stimulate audience interest and involvement. Empty is senility to someone else filling and situations. Try to place yourself in their position when you plain or design your messages so you can better gauge how your message will effect them.
